Learn about Andrew Ramz and the story behind A Dream Come True
Hi! My name is Andrew Ramz. I find it incredible how life can change in an instant, for good. Probably 4-5 years ago, despite studying in college, I didn't know for sure what to do in my life. But then music came and changed it all.
One day while I was walking with my dog, Candy, inspiration came as if someone was whispering to my ear with the breeze of wind, as I was listening to Ben Cocks "One Last Time", scenes of a story that sealed my fate.

Of course, back in the day, I had never written a book before. But I didn't see it as an obstacle. I didn't get to think about how challenging it could be to write one, especially if it's the first time. I just believed in myself in writing the book because I thought it was a good story to be told.

Since then, the road was long and winding. I've sent endless query letters to literary agents, hoping there could be one to believe in me for my book to be published. But I received the same answer over and over again.

Frustration became my loyal companion during those hard times. But that didn't stop me. I made editions to the story with the hope to improve it. For almost an entire year there was no day I didn't think of the plot, the character's decisions, dialogues, and other situations. Probably I haven't spent as much time on the computer as in those days.

I remember waking up waking 6 am, and even on one occasion, I decided to go to bed at 3 am. Those times took out the best of me. But to be frank with you, maybe it wasn't the answer. I had big dreams and I couldn't wait for them to be true. But greatness takes time, despite I was working on the story every single day.

As for the query letters, I got the same answer. Maybe this story is not for them. And that's totally fine. That's when I decided to self-publish.

Let's be honest, the view is better from the top, where your dreams come true.

As I was writing the story I never looked for any kind of help. I always had ideas to carry out. And I think it's the best that can happen to an author who's writing for the first time. Probably they might not be quite clear, just as if you were trying to remember a dream which is always blurry.

But the more you analyze all the aspects of the story, making sure every piece fits the rest as if it was a puzzle, then the better you become.

Of course, it takes time to develop this ability. But back then, I knew what my destiny was.

Build your future in your mind. If you can imagine it, then it can come true.
Then Covid-19 came and the book release had to wait. But maybe it was a good moment, in terms of having more time to polish the last details.

But then I forgot about A Dream Come True as I was focusing on writing my second novel, Immortal, which has been one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. I enjoyed the process more cos this time there was no pressure.
I'm currently writing my third novel. I can't tell you when Immortal will be released because this time I want my story to be published traditionally. And I'm sure this time the answer will be different.
